Over the past 2 weeks I have received several emails inquiring as to whether or not we would be producing a Z32 calendar for 2005, and the immediate answer has been no. After, some of the complaints last year and negative rhetoric we decided that it was not worth the hassle, to produce the calendar. However, over the past few days I have been thinking this over and I have come to the realization that for every complaint there were 5 people very pleased with the calendar...so why should I let a few complaints ruin it for the others. So, yes we are willing to produce a Z32 only calendar for 2005. However, this year everyone will have to adhere to the following quality control guidelines. ******* ---------------------------------------------------- 1.) Only submit high resolution images (2MP or Larger) 2.) Submit several pictures of your car (3 to 4), preferrrably including interior shots, exterior, engine etc... 3.) Please submit your car's information aka spec sheet. This includes pertinent modifications, your cars year, color etc... 4.) Submit your images on time, to allow plenty of time for post processing your pictures (Retouching) ---------------------------------------------------- ******* **** New for this year Photography Post Processing: All photos this year will be post processed by my Photo Editor Michael Coates prior to be submitted to the graphic designers. This will include blalancing the levels and doing minor retouching. Then the images will be gone over by my graphic design team to remove licesne plates etc, before being completed for the calendar. Hopefully, this will result in a better quality calendar than in the past 2 years. Sponsorships: If anyone in the Z community is interested in sponsoring the calendars we will be more than happy to discuss that further, sponsorships will then lower the cost to the buyer. As of yet we have not decided with what printer we will be doing the calendars this year. It is pretty dependant upon demand, small runs are difficult to accomodate with normal printers. We will have all of that sorted out and prices by next month, allowing plenty of time for holiday ordering etc... As with both previous years, all of those people featured in the calendar will receive them at costs. So, if you are interested in submitting your car/cars for this years calendar please gather your best high resolution images together and email them along with your specs to ---- > Uploads@DownShiftOnline.com Here is the cover of the 2003 calendar.
